    Today was a short day, only 189 miles, but for some reason it was a very tiring drive. We wanted to depart Deland by 9 am, but we didn't make it. I woke up at 8 and found Bob asleep on the couch. So it was almost 10 by the time we departed Deland. We did not return to I-75 the way we went into Deland, so the ride was better.     ... frequent for the next few weeks, as we will be mostly stationary until late March, when we begin the northward swing. It is beginning to look like we may not go home until July, when the "Spring Thaw" occurs.

    We are SO grateful for our friends who have tolerated us - we have thoroughly enjoyed the visits. Thank you, thank you. The rest of you, watch out. We may appear at any moment!!

    Today we are thankful.... For our amazing family, our good health and the chance to enjoy so many new things. Today we learned: 1. You CAN cook a turkey in an RV oven 2.
