... work on that one. Anyway we got going the correct way and hopefullly we will get to Colorado tonight. With our late start and getting turned around we have a longer drive than we had planned. I noticed East Kansas has more green rolling hills and oak trees, and West Kansas is pretty flat and boring. The weather has been hot and muggy for the most part of the day, but now toward west Kansas it's getting cooler and not so humid. Maybe we will all sleep better tonight.

He has two more years of high
school and then he will be finished. He sings in church and is quite
religious. He used to talk to Yorleni on the phone about seeking God
for help and comfort. He didnt get to come to Costa Rica this time
because he is not of age to have any identification yet. His birthday
is in November so he will be able to come in Dec. when school is out ...
LIMON, Costa Rica whomshallisend... years old and have big appetites. The girls are 9 and 4 years old but they have big appetites also. She left both fathers because they were only using her for whatever they wanted, but weren't supporting them even while they lived together. We had heard of her last year and started to send food over to her and the children before we came home for Christmas. Since we have met her, we have been trying to find a more permanent solution to her problem. The first thing was to help ...
LIMON, Costa Rica whomshallisend... night of the very day that I moved them into a classroom that had a security sensor. Ain't God GREAT? Then first grade got hit for a Microwave. They got in thru some small louver windows at the top of the wall about 12" high. Then on the evening of Dec 1st (I was working late and quiet I guess) the Computer Lab got hit. The door was latched but the steel security door was up since I was going over there when I finished to check my mail. They couldn't jimmy the ...
LIMON, Costa Rica whomshallisend... Hurtle 5) Now I'm in the home stretch, I see my gate, look at my watch 1-minute till lift off. Figured I was destined for a night in Houston, then I noticed 3 or 4 people in line at the desk. (THAT BUS DRIVER HAD TO HAVE SOME CONNECTION ABOVE) flashed my ticket scooted right onboard. Last Hurtle. Seems that a little rain on a parade can be a good thing. Plus got to sit near a very interesting gentleman but that's for a future update. So now we are back with everything in ...
Denver, Colorado, United States erich.noriega... and large scale view. We worked 10,11,12 hours a day for money, then another 2-4 hours a day on the previously abandoned houses that I had just purchased. If only we could save enough, repair and replace enough, and maintain our gumption we could do it. We kept saying that rest would come later, and an hour of hard work now would mean a day of rest in Thailand, or India, or Tanzania,or Vietnam. We began to streamline our needs. The thing that we could both look ...
Denver, United States longwalktour... nature. I owned a travel agency and was a working travel agent. A person of Peter's knowledge far exceed mind when it came to a destination I was unfamiliar with. His expertise in the golf courses, small hotels and guest houses gave us the best bang for our buck. If I never make it back, I can always remember the great time I had because everything was in place and I had no hassles. Thanks Peter!
Denver, Colorado, United States dbarela... of the highs and lows of our trip. We had a few matters to attend to first, such as where we were going to live (we bought an old brick bungalow in north Denver), how we were going to make a living (more about this later), and how we were going to get around (determined to get by with one car, Andy is learning the bus routes so Jill can tool around in the Toyota Corolla we leased). The good news is we're feeling happily settled in Denver, Colorado. Our life adventures continue to ...
