Drove 220 miles in 3.5 hours.
We arrived at Karen's aunt Suzanne's place around mid- afternoon, perfect timing for a hay ride and pumpkin pick expedition.

Well it's the first day being temporarily unemployed. Feels weird knowing I won't be going back to the hospital to work. Got a lot accomplished. My passport arrived finally. Didn't have far to go from Knoxville to visit overnight with our South FL Corvette friends transplanted to TN. Dave and Linda took us on a trip thru the back roads thru the Cherohala Skyway and stopping at the Bald River Falls which was a beautiful area. We drove thru a lot of small towns Athens and Etowah and then a delicious meal at a local diner. It was good to see their piece of quiet paradise!! Thank you,
