    Yay week 1 classes ended!! And ended well!!! Gave students surveys to fill out, and the comments were phenomenal!! They absolutely loved the class :))) always nice when that happens!!! Had a nice lunch and dinner in the dining hall with the staff too. AND I got paid for Emory. So the day is definitely looking up. Hope to have a relaxing time ...

    ... to teach students 11am-4pm and at the same time work through all the technical difficulties and help desks referring me to each other.... The thing is I felt like these issues could've been prevented. I've also been not very well fed here. Trying to be vegan at a regular summer college campus is not easy. The positive thing is that instructors here don't have to lead or even participate in extracurriculars during the weekdays. There are like 10 RAs here and they prepare ...

    2 hour flight to Philadelphia + 20 min train ride to center city + 2 hour wait/lunch + 1.5 hour bus ride later... I am at Lehigh University!!! It is a gorgeous campus with a lot of hills and concrete steps. The midday heat rivaled that of Atlanta. I managed to get checked in, shower and nap before going to an all staff dinner! It's a much bigger camp with 14-15 staff members and 120 students! Seems like a diverse, nice mix of people. I am ...

    ... only open on weekends until summer too. Luckily I was able to explore the grounds of the Colonial Industrial Quarter which was right next to the hotel.

    On Friday Matt worked from the hotel. As there wasn't much left to explore and because it was raining, I stayed in bed all day reading and ordering room service. Not a bad day J I managed to drag myself to the hotel gym before Matt and I headed out for dinner and a movie.
