... brand shops lining the Namikidori Avenue and the series of department stores dotting the Chuo Avenue are the highlights of this area. It's a 5 minute walk from the hotel towards the Ginza 8 Chome direction. I have no idea what direction Ginza 8 Chome is, but I'm pretty sure the smell of new clothes and shoes will help me find it!

... big! And it's one of the only zoos in the country that's still free to visit. I looked around at most of the exhibits, and it's quite nicely done. I also bought a stuffed toy racoon from the souvenir shop and a fleece sweater - cause today was really chilly! I now know why they call it the Windy City!! ... a few days in and I really like the hostel, it was a good choice for our first few days. I'm still probably washing my hands a little too often and looking too closely at any area I'm about to occupy but hey - I'm getting there, it's only been 3 nights after all! It was great music but I left early so I could go back to the station and get a photo with a couple of them. I didn't remember exactly where it was since I had just stumbled on it, but I was able to find it.
