    ... to a new hotel," I ask. I'm not excited to stay here either. I dont like that we are in the corner, the door won't lock and the room reeks of debauchery. "At least a new room," she squeeks. Fair enough. We go get a new room and this one actually has a normal bed. "Don't worry Jamie, you can still watch me shower, " I say sarcastically. Why would they make a room with a glass shower and no option for privacy. Oh wait....I know why. ...

    ... couscous (simply larger than normal) that was amazing! Then a 'Mother Dough' pizza pocket (lighter crust), before finishing with some gelato. Stuffed from eating all day, we slowly walked back to our hostel to relax for the early evening before going to a local bar to watch the College Football Championship game.

    ... shade as of trees as temps were in the high 20's. The picturesque sunset was followed by a clear starry sky - we love it!! Several lakes & all the canals were created in the 1940 when roads created with lime stone (old sea bed) dug from below the water line. It wasn't profitable enough for the oil companies so they donated it to the Government for the Park.

    ... miserable and slept on either me or grant, and threw up another 3-4 times however it may have been better than her being awake and not sitting still at all while everyone was "sleeping" during the day so I'll count my lucky chickens. So apart from James shouting out very loudly "dad" every half an hr or so as his tv was faulty - with headphones on, I think our nearby passengers were pretty lucky!
    When we got to Miami it was 2pm and 5 hrs behind UK time of 7pm! ...

    The alarm duly went at 3.15am, which I might say is very early, and we took a taxi to the Amtrak station in good time to catch the Silver Meteor for our 14 hour trip to Miami. The neighbour came out on his front porch in case the taxi was late as he was prepared to drive us. Lovely fellow.
