Beaumont-Finally!!

... Houston about 4:15 and going in was OK, but then we had to drive through and out. That put a crimp in our time, but not too badly. There was only one time when we actually had to stop. By the time we left Houston in the rear view, it was close to 6pm and getting dark, but we kept pushing on.

We arrived at Gulf Coast RV Resort in Beaumont about 7pm and had to hook up in the dark, but we did and got everything inside settled. Now it's time for a good night sleep.

It is as if the engineers herde simply mixed pots of gravfel with tar and slung thing with reckless abandon on a sandy base. I feel like i've driven on a cobblestone beach for about 30 miles. All becase better though within a few miles of Jasper, and Texas DOES seem to appreciate ...

Road rash...... Arrrrrr

... if I was alright. Asked about 3 times if he wanted me to have him call an ambulance. AN AMBULANCE!??! Do I look like I have cash falling out of my pockets? Then they'll probably dispatch a firetruck too..... just for giggles. Hahaa..... Not only do we make you look like a natural disaster, a state of emergency..... you're going to pay thousands of dollars you don't have. Because we're on the clock anyway. Somebody has to pay our salary. Might as well be you........... ...
