... br> Friday the snow started out crunchy since it got fairly cold overnight, death cookies galore. We skied Sunshine Peak until it warmed up. Then we skied down and had lunch at the Snow Bird Restaurant in the Ptarmigan Inn. I got the nachos which were very good. After lunch we skied more on Sunshine such as Hot Cakes and some off Storm Peak like Storm Peak Face, the area skier’s right of Buddy’s, Flying Z and Drop Out.

Well, after another round of hot chocolates, the sun going down and the temperature dropping further, we decided to watch the parade from our window - lucky enough to have front row seats and then we had a 4-0 vote to skip the fireworks - too far in the cold!

Well, here we are in Boston. We arrived this morning at about 8:00 am in beautiful sunrise. It is another blue sky day, and we are soon to get off and stroll around Boston. Boston is not large and is a very walkable city.

It was a little early to head straight there though, so I jumped off at Haymarket and head to Faneuil Hall / Quincy Market for breakfast: bagels and OJ.
