I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

The department was the Public Information back then and I remember the rain when I came in. I had to pull over and called Donna hoping for someone to talk to while I sat waiting for it ...

... It was good seeing her again and
      introducing her to the Emblidges.

You can see by the pictures of the food that we had an
amazing meal: barb-b-q ribs, corn-on-the-cob, potato salad, stuffed eggs, macaroni & cheese, and the amazing patriotic jello ring (it tasted really good, too).

Later we had homemade ice cream: chocolate, ...

... about it. I don't have the option to walk or shop at a farmer's market and it makes me feel really guilty. I'm really looking forward to living in the Findhorn Ecovillage ( http://www.ecovillagefindhorn.com/ ) where they grow most of their own food, produce all of their own energy, and work as a community to reduce their impact on the environment. I think it will feel so liberating ...
