I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

Got to Atlanta on Friday, Nov 7 and stayed till Tuesday morning, Nov. 11.
Donna come over on Friday night and I just can't say how good it was to see her. She was actually the first one that I saw many years ago when I went to Atlanta to meet Damita after becoming a full time employee of CNN. The department was the Public Information back then and I remember the rain when I came in. I had to pull over and called Donna hoping for someone to talk to while I sat waiting for it ...

introducing her to the Emblidges.
You can see by the pictures of the food that we had an
amazing meal: barb-b-q ribs, corn-on-the-cob, potato salad, stuffed eggs, macaroni & cheese, and the amazing patriotic jello ring (it tasted really good, too).
Later we had homemade ice cream: chocolate, ...
... about it. I don't have the option to walk or shop at a farmer's market and it makes me feel really guilty. I'm really looking forward to living in the Findhorn Ecovillage ( http://www.ecovillagefindhorn.com/ ) where they grow most of their own food, produce all of their own energy, and work as a community to reduce their impact on the environment. I think it will feel so liberating ...
