    ... sometime on the water. Coeur d'Alene is a long and big lake, lots of osprey nesting on posts in the water. Even with all the boating, skiing, kayaking activities on the lake, we never felt crowded as the Lake of Ozarks. The breeze was cool and the water was calm most of the time. We both enjoyed our first jet ski ride.

     The day started at 3:30, or more precisely after hitting the snooze 3:37. That's a.m. and for me, a night owl, well that was 2.5 hours to try to sleep. It didn't work so well, but I got some. 
    Arriving one hour before departure is not quite enough for Southwest -- they want you a hour before boarding. But my suitcases made it on with pretty yellow labels for Late Arrival.

    ... Scenic Byway. We were so happy when we saw the sign "US Customs". Customs officer was great and we were quickly on our way.

    We are passing through Idaho on our way to Washington. We spent a little time in Idaho before we got into Washington. Idaho does look like the 'baked potato state'........whatever that is. hahaha
