    ... all this is that no person in their right mind who drove 3000 miles on roads like this would ever contemplate a repeat trip. Starting tomorrow we will be back to the old ways. That’s for sure.

    ... s terrible out there; even delayed Mom's departure by a day. Knoxville doesn't seem to deal well with a little winter weather as you can see by the frozen truck. The driver was in Suttree's, taking in some literary inspiration no doubt; Cormac would be proud. But, Dad said the view of Market Square from their hotel room is quite pretty and, Coffee & Chocolate is still close enough to make a quick run.

    Took a trip to Sweet water, Tennessee to The Lost Sea Adventure which is a huge cave with a underground lake at the bottom of it. You do a 3/4 mile hike and drop down over 140 feet below ground level. At the bottom you board boats and go out in a 4 acre underground lake, There were rainbow trout in the lake up ...

    ... hills, auburn leaves and some stunning mountain peaks.

    Once arriving at the farm we hopped onto the back of tractor trailer and were towed around the fields, weaving between livestock, hay bails and pumpkins. We chose the pumpkin from the field and hopped back aboard.

    We were all tired so headed home for an early night.

    Fairfield Glade, TN is another place that we enjoyed very much and would consider moving here one day. There are great trails everywhere that are paved for walking/biking along with offering great amenities such as Monday outdoor concert, horse back riding and several lakes for fishing.
