We ended up staying overnight at
Walmart in Gainesville TX. Not a great stop as we weren't very level,
it was a little warm to be comfortable and they had trains all night.
But once again grateful that it was free.
September 29th – day 148
We left Gainesville before 9am and
headed North into Oklahoma on our way towards Amarillo. There was a

Then we followed it all up with the best guacamole and mexican food ever! They gave us three different kinds of salsa with gluten free chips and queso sauce for free! Then they gave us dessert for free too! Best restaurant ever! Yum Yum! No better way to end the day after working up an appetite climbing all over the rocks.

We were able to get onto the Army base and travel anywhere we desired which was a real treat. We visited the artillery museum as well as the buildings making up the original fort.
