... centre. It really is a beautiful town. One main street lined with boutique stores, cafes, and a gorgeous old church at the end.
We happen to be there for the town's historical day, where people were dressed in 18th century clothing. Top hats and tails, hoop skirts, lace gloves and bonnets. Felt like we'd gone back in time.

... Abraham Lincoln was elected to be President of the United States in 1860. During the time he was President, the United States had a Civil War where the South part of the country wanted to be separated from the North. I couldn't find much information about modern Elizabethtown. It is a popular overnight stop for people traveling on Interstate 65, and it is the 10th largest city in Kentucky. ...
