... The suggestions were no better than the road we were on but we did decided to take their short .75 of a mile cut off instead of riding 2 miles around a point. The first half of the "cut off" was great paved road no cars.... On Halloween, T and Gav showed us around the French Quarter where we devoured some beignets from Café Dumond, got some croissants at a friend's bakery and as if we hadn't had enough fried and buttery dough, we also ate a couple-day old doughnuts that were hanging out in the shop. We all were so tuckered from dancing ...
... in time change. I was so thankful that the time change happened on the drive home though and not on the way to Destin as I had originally thought. We also hit a lot of rain to the point where I could hardly see where I was going. It was bad. I was glad to make it home safe and sound after white knuckling the steering wheel for hours.

We decided to have dinner here at the Inn. The chef and food are supposed to be the best around and they certainly stood to that reputation! Jym had lamb and I had Grouper Vince. Both were fantastic. We also tried the portabella for an appetizer and a side of the 150 day old aged white cheddar truffled macaroni. Wow. We had no room for dessert though…sad ...
