The start of our trip.
Departure from Huntsville toward Chicago. Got an all day lay over in Chicago because there is only one flght to Chicago from Huntsville.
All went well other than the American Airlines agent had to physically complete the baggage connection between Paris and Malta. This meant that he had to hand write the ultimate destination. I don' think he has ever heard of Malta.
Onward and ...
... died on landing. Jase's rocket, the Aussie Oi'Oi'Oi, and Jordan's rocket, the Walrus 1, both had successful but short missions. Just like some other things in my life. The kids then had a chance to show off their secret assignment where they built their own International Space Station out of Lego & Connectors. Very cool. The big kids & little kids looked exhausted so it was showers & bedtime by 9:30pm - us astronauts are mega party ...

Galen and I took a day trip to downtown Nashville to visit places like Tootsie's, Ryman Auditorium, Musicians Hall of Fame, ate some great BBQ and walked our shoes off!!! We then went to the Opryland Hotel and took off to the mall for some very good Mexican Food before heading to the Grand Ole Opry to see country stars like Carrie Underwood and Trace Atkins.
