      ... we visited Yosemite National Park and the surrounding Sierra and Stanislaus National Forests. We very nearly didn't bother going to Yosemite. There is an overall length restriction of 45ft on the roads surrounding the area, and as the truck and trailer combined are around 50ft in length, the closest campground we managed to find was still 76 miles from Yosemite Valley.       ... 8217;s gated, pool, hot tub, a fishing pond, paved wide sites, palm trees and warm weather. Almost like an oasis from the freeway.
