... back at Santa Barbara. I had a lovely cheese burger. When we got back to the coach, it had lowered itself so that the door got trapped on the curb as it opened. However it didn't open enough for anyone to squeeze in so Adrian had to jack it up in order to get the door open. Our tour was soon over, as as we were unable to join the amphibious tour, we walked ...

I was a little reluctant to hang out in Santa Barbara. It just felt like a bad 80s soapie. But La, true to form found a great spot called Carpinteria just south of Santa Barbara. A good ride down some technical single track down the Romereo Trail and the best sunset to-date completed ...

... and Owen went off in his ridiculously massive truck to simi to join his friends at the bowling alley! And despite only having one workable arm I didn't lose and game 4th (out of 5 but shhh) instead! They then decided that I couldn't come to California without having an in-n-out burger so we hit up the fast food joint for what I must say was a very good burger! And I felt like such a gangster on the way home as the boys blared out rap music from the truck! Love ...
