We had spent about 50% more to do the 11,000 km. this time for gasoline and the key factors appear to be the exchange when travelling in the USA and the fact that about half this trip at that point had been in Canada where gasoline on average costs $1.40 a litre compared to an equivalent of approximately $1.05 a litre in the USA!!!!
