    We rode almost effortlessly for two thirds of our trip until we stopped for lunch, we had a hard time rolling afterward. I don't know if the problem was psychological, maybe having just had casual conversation that softened our mood; or the physical aspect, because we just stopped too long causing the lactic acid to build up in our legs.     ... night. And I refuse to pay that.
    So I convinced my hubby to drive back to the interstate, 45 miles up north. We 'had' to stay in Alabama, otherwise I could not check Alabama off my list 'States to visit before I die'.
    We ended up in the Bay Inn in Loxley and payed 89$, taxes included. The 'saved' 60$ will be well spent on gasoline the upcoming days.
