... tried this in Tokyo, but were turned around quickly once we didn't realized we didn't know what exactly constituted a "block" as there were many side streets and alleys. The address numbers were not in a progressive order, as well. The hotel also ended up being extremely nondescript from the outside, further complicating things. ... it cost me about $70.00 for 600kms. worth of gas. At that price this trip would have cost $335.00. We certainly lucked into a great time to drive across America.

Since we arrived late in the day Treba decided to stay at the hotel rather than disrupt her son's family in the evening.

Looking forward to a good nights rest and a leisurely morning before invading the Garrett household.

We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river.
