We made it! Alisha and I got into Colorado Springs earlier than we thought we would and we decided to just truck it on to Denver so we would be close in the morning! It is about 9 pm and I am skipping dinner to go to bed! Luckily there is a continental breakfast in the morning.

Decided to abandon flight booking due to snow & transferred back to Denver past Vail & Copper Mountain on Colorado Mountain Express. Arrived just after 2pm then Dee had ceremonial last chicken wings before boarding BA to London & Oslo. We then caught shuttle to Holiday Inn Express to overnight before 0530 check-in tomorrow!

... Ted's Montana Grill which was the same chain restaurant I had visited in Atlanta. This time I wasn't doing the salad though. I ordered the Bison Fillet. It was delicious as was the accompanying mash potato with gravy and broccoli.

Rather than have a big night, I decided to walk back to my apartment and have an early night as I wanted to be fresh for my full day tour of the Rocky Mountains tomorrow.

... of Denver where you can view around 270 rescued lions, tigers, bears, wolves and other large carnivores from a mile long walkway above their enclosures. It was bitterly cold, especially when the wind got up, but we enjoyed ourselves and saw quite a lot of the animals. Hopefully we made it worthwhile for the staff too as we were quite possibly their only visitors that day.
