    8th day - Phoenix to Red Rock & my cousin's house

    ... by only one large town that had a mall along the freeway. Other then that there were just some sparsely built up area & then desert. Eventually we reached the exit we needed & we made our way to Kat & Dan's house. When we arrived we had to wait for a little while for the dogs to be put away since Jon & missy have allergies & one of Kat's dogs is a bit rambunctious.

    Once the dogs got put away, we got a tour of Kat's lovely home. ...

    ... years was a success and in others they came up short; however they did remain in there for two years. As a finicky eater I can see one of the areas they came up short was their plan for food. They had plenty of nutrients in their diet but they came up short on calories. One of the things they planted was a horrible tasting, but nutritious beans called lab lab. I raised the question of why didn't they plant peanuts...high in calories, protein, and oil for cooking. They said ...

    ... giving Alex a break from the crazy New
    Yorker that had been talking at him for the last 2 hours! Driving
    back through the beautiful mountains of Nevada we saw the most breath
    taking sunset and as the skies went a beautiful red we crossed the
    Hoover bypass and had the perfect view of the Hoover dam. The perfect
    way to end the perfect day! We got back to El Cortez at around 10pm ,
    after having only about 3 hours at the Canyon but was totally worth

    Well we had scheduled a television replace from advise we received in Myrtle Beach, SC.Camping World does not actually have a service department so they have Lazy Days RV do the work. We has a eight AM appointment with Lazy Days but had to fist check with Camping World so everything took longer to srat. Lazy Days could not have been nicer!! Because we had 3 dogs in the RV ...
