    ... comfortable and well maintained. I don't know what it is about US hotels, but they do seem to be quite old fashioned and clunky compared with their British counterparts. The corridors tend to be dark and dingy and unwelcoming and the bedroom doors can only be described as utilitarian, but probably very secure. There hasn't been time to get bored. I've filled my time and enjoyed the hop on-hop off bus tour, the 'city by night' tour, the Napa Valley wineries ...

    ... I guess we will continue to be asked “what was our favourite part of the trip”. My formal reply shall be.. I can’t even try to generalise the USA in any matter, not even to pick a best place. The diversity we encountered was staggering in both scenery and culture and a comparison between apples and oranges is never warranted. However I would love to see more of Wyoming and maybe explore New York in a different phase of life.

Harried fathers made sure their children were drinking enough water, older brothers and sisters looking around and wondering where they'd go next, young couples walking hand in hand towards adventurous rides.     ... Vibe hostel, which is located right in the middle of Hollywood so that we can actually see the HOLLYWOOD sign from our window! On Friday, Francesca, Claire and I did the walk of fame which consists of more than 2500 stars with names of famous people, which goes along 15 blocks on Hollywood Boulevard.
