... Yikes! The doctor did not seem to be overly concerned. He indicated Addy's kidneys are not commonly shaped. She has what you refer to as duplex kidney. In Mama simple language, it just means that each kidney has somewhat of an extra section with it's own tube to her bladder. Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously.
