My roommate and I found each other on Facebook, on one of our Northeastern pages. We saw each other's bios and thought we would be a good fit. We kept talking and now we are living together this year! She is a great girl and I am super excited to get to know her.

I left Chicago on the Fourth of July for one reason and one reason only: to see fireworks from a plane. I smushed my head against the window and almost spilled my overcooked noodles, but I was successful in seeing a couple tiny tiny tiny fireworks from my seat on the freezing plane.

To show that "ruin-porn" is not just about Africa, there was also a stage-set-like exhibit where you enter into a dark hallway, which narrows as you approach the end. You can pause at all the doors, listening to what is "happening" within the apartments on the other side. The final strange exhibit was a weird balloon organism, which was slowly decaying as the balloons lost air.
