Jumped out of the tent, ran to the woods, and got sick........not a good way to start off the day. That was at 8am, now it is 1pm.....finally starting to feel good enough to try and hike. Headed out at 2pm, and it is now 2:45pm.....back in the tent, the down pour started, and I'm tired as hell of being rained on - then drying everything out - only to have ...

... the state when we get to the south of Vermont.
When I looked at the map, I found Rhododendron State park! My Uncle Tommy was crazy about these plants, he even moved to a remote town in southern Oregon, so he could grow them better!
We took one of our shorter day trips & toured the charming Town of Keene (which Roger wants to come back & spend the winter) then we drove on to the state park & a wonderful hike that began as a 1 mile ...
