It was a very strange drive to California today. It should have been great, but for some reason I ended up wearing the crankypants, and by the time I got to the hotel I was in a very snarly mood. It eventually passed and the day ended on a very high note, though.

I was on the I-5 for, well I don't remember exactly but I think at least 200 miles yesterday. The highway crossed into California while going ...

... we could purchase some of their Profile wine so we will be coming to Napa yearly to pick up our case of wine which is really not a hardship :-) Their C******nay was well balanced and wonderful, their Merlot was a great price and again really well balanced, this will be added to our collection of great house wine, we will be going back to buy more before we leave Napa I'm sure.

... magnificent view of the Napa Valley. The tour itself was a self guided, boring tour, with tastings throughout the tour. Sterling provided you with a wine glass which you used during the entire tour, and allowed you to keep it for souvenir.
At the end of the tour, it ends at the gift shop with more tastings, and then you head down to the gondola and back to your car.

This wacky, new, Global Village we live in has very much expanded my friend roster. Meeting Paul L. thru a prog music geek site and remaining friends for the better part of 15 years now, changed my life. And I must say- for the better. Visiting him in Northern California and meeting his friends has truly enriched my life. Bradley and Medina, a couple of Misty's, Green Bay Packer Fan extraordinaire KellytheSinger, just to name a few, has really changed how I prioritize Cali when ...

Sam P. Taylor Campsite... a bit north... ish of San Fran

So it's the 1st of October. We are in a new month in America land.

We were having a chillout day today... more later on how bad that went. For now though, I will type about yesterday.

To be honest, yesterday started out a bit *****. We went to go and hire bikes to ride along the Golden Gate Bridge. But they were pretty expensive. So we ...
