... Wild Belle. We skied Sunshine Peak, Hot Cakes, Rolex, Norther, Vagabond. The snow conditions were glorious today and it was a sunny day. The temps went into the upper 30s low 40 and of course it would be better if it stayed cooler at this time of year! We broke for lunch at Hazie’s where I had the cuban sandwich special served with fries. It was great. I also really like their burger there as well as the view.

When we got to the falls we got on a boat and took a trip in the basin of the falls. We got given disposable ponchos to help keep us dry. Although pretty much everyone stayed inside. Tsk. If you’re going to experience something then EXPERIENCE it! I stood in the front of the boat the whole time when we sailed up to the foot of the falls. There were a handful of fellow thrill seekers on the top deck but I had the front all to ...

This area had had its own parade too, it seems, and this, combined with roadworks in the square lead to a general chaotic air. Our journey back took much longer than anticipated. We were starving by now and looked for a suitable eatery. Our best option was a Persian restaurant which served dishes reminiscent of our time in Oman. A nice birthday treat. ...

... from the fact that a week from the accident I am sore and the pains are changing, I am walking and functional! I could not have been more blessed through such a horrible experience.

All that being said, I attempted to go to the consulate the following Monday, but the bus never came. Given what I was feeling from walking a short way down the road, I decided to try again the next day. I even emailed the consulate to ask if ...

... not crowded. We were very pleased!

We landed at Logan a few minutes after 11pm, and got back home around 12:45am. Dogs were ecstatic to see us - JJ climbed up the basement stairs before I opened the mudroom door! We really missed them and were so very happy to see them and hug them! Melissa did a great job taking care of them!!!

Home Sweet Home! We enjoyed a perfect trip, but it's always so good to be home!
