... We leave the restaurant and begin to wander. San Diego has a very vital and active downtown. Little Italy, Gaslamp district, old town, lots to see and lots to do. We wander the Gaslamp district, checking out the stores and the restaurants. We wind up walking right into the stadium where the Padres play! It's open and you can walk right through. You can't go down on the field, but you can get pretty close!

... other and found a newly opened espresso shop underground offering half price coffee so we popped in for a caffeine hit, or in our case a double hit. The coffee was really good and as it was half price we treated ourselves to two lattes each and sat in there having a chat with the girl who worked there. It was empty so she had nothing better to do!

Today was another travel day. I got up at 7.20am, showered, dressed and then went downstairs for breakfast. Breakfast was not included at the hotel, so i picked up something at the cafe attached to the hotel and then went back to the room to eat it. Back in my room i ate, used the internet and got ready for the day. I then packed bags, cleaned up the room, did some reading and checked out.
Well the 3 amigos are off. We left the states late arvo yesterday and immediately ran into trouble trying to get into Mexico. We got secondary checked and asked for registration for shawns little tinny and the trailer we built. We were told we couldn't enter Mexico unless the boat was registered. They turned us around and made us wait in the qua for the states. We got into the states no problems with the boat, weird. Luckily ...
