    ... nice, although an awful lot of restaurants, which also all seemed to be serving the biggest portions! We had a nice walk round, before heading back to camp. This morning we are heading to look round the Alamo, before heading to Austin.     ... in Arizona, and they were able to trade for a week at a wonderful 3 bedroom condo right near the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio. A little off the beaten path but close enough for 7 of us to get around town on foot, mass transit, and hotel shuttles. Since we were there in the middle of the annual Fiesta, we got a birds-eye view of some of the parade preparations, in the marina right below our window!

    Weird to be back in the states. Taking pictures of random things, like drinking fountains, public restrooms, $10 burgers, street signs, tacky souveniers, and silly tourists.     The river walk is nice. Everything is easy to find. Not too groudy nor pick pockets. I like it. We continued to Catherdal San Pedro. Very simple church. But only to know the graves of the heroes from Alamo are there gave me the same feeling as i have always in Paris Notre Dame. Amazing! We walked around in the down town.
