... what you are supposed to do when you retire - relax!!!!

We visited the Riverwalk a number of times, visited the Alamo, Historic Market Square, River Center Mall, Gruene, museums, double decker buses, river rides, trolley rides, saloons, great restaurants (Rita's on the River, Tony Roma, Lone Star, Pat O'Brien's, etc.). Well, we finally figured out what kind and who will change out the refrigerator. I'm not sure what we've gotten ourselves into but I'll be taking lots of pictures. Hopefully we will represent golf in The Villages well but no matter how we play, I'm sure we'll come home with some good golf stories.

That's all for now, stay tuned.

... our hotel was very comfy indeed, another well picked place from Stef.

We made the most of the following day, visiting the Alamo first up. It was a compound which originally comprised a sanctuary and surrounding buildings, was built by the Spanish Empire in the 18th century for the education of local Native Americans after their conversion to Christianity. It was eventually abandoned and became ...
