... For those who are curious, I started this blog for family members and really, anyone else who wants to keep up with me while I go on this European adventure. I hope y'all enjoy reading it and I am sorry in advance if it is somewhat lacking. I will try to update as often as I can but I am kind of a noob at all of this blogging. Wish me luck!

I’m glad I made time to connect with friends ...

We drove to the RiverCentre shopping mall in the historic downtown, paying $20 for the privilege of parking there on an “event day” ie ...

Much of the road being elevated concrete, and on a platform road running over swampland. Cousin Tracey had invited us to stay, so our plan was to spend an hour in the city and head out to her home, our base for the evening . We had not realized ...

... city, next county, next state, or half way around the world…just get away and do it! You will be amazed at how much you have in common with other cultures; and the learning is phenomenal.

With that said, we are planning a return to China in early 2016 (God willing). Shanghai is opening the sixth Disney Resort in December 2015. We have been to the current five properties, and want to add the sixth. So, after the first of the year, we’ll start ...
