      ... excitement in seeing the tomatoes especially. We had to eat a Chicago Dog of course and the walked and explored some more. We went to the city's cultural center which was once the library housed in a magnificent building with beautiful mosaic floors, ceilings and glass domes ceilings. Ted's camera battery died so we found a place there where we could charge it and cool off a bit. Ladies there playing mahjong, mothers playing cards with their children, ...

      ... of fluid that had apparently been dripping on the exhaust, creating the white smoke we saw. We spent the next four hours parked on the highway until we were able to find a tow truck/service center that could come out to help us (MANY thanks to Officer Randy from the Mendota Police who spent an hour making phone calls for us in order to find a repair service and to Jeff from Seneca Towing who passed on towing us because he knew the towing service ...

      ... We considered hiking it, which takes about a week, but I don't think my mother would want us gone another week, and that would also make our packing that much more challenging. Maybe another time! While there we will also have the chance to see the rain forest and local Tanzanian people. It will be a nice little getaway.
