Carol's mother had passed away in California only 3 days before we arrived so she had only arrived home 2 days before. We spent the next four hours parked on the highway until we were able to find a tow truck/service center that could come out to help us (MANY thanks to Officer Randy from the Mendota Police who spent an hour making phone calls for us in order to find a repair service and to Jeff from Seneca Towing who passed on towing us because he knew the towing service ...

... We considered hiking it, which takes about a week, but I don't think my mother would want us gone another week, and that would also make our packing that much more challenging. Maybe another time! While there we will also have the chance to see the rain forest and local Tanzanian people. It will be a nice little getaway.

And to wrap up our trip we will head up to Egypt. Many people give us a look of shock when we tell them this since they have had some safety ...
