Gas cost $53.30 when arriving in Rawlins. Buddy and I had a fun day visiting the Carbon Country Museum and then going to Memory Lanes. We had a friendly competition of bowling in which I won in every round. We had French fries and soda ($4.71) during this time. The ...

The first stop of the morning was Deadwood South Dakota, seat of Lawrence county, the eponymous local of the HBO series, and the final resting place of Wild Bill Hickok. Continuing our theme of visiting the grave sites of folks we think were cool, we visited Mount Moriah Cemetery and paid our respects ...

... the air is so thin and light that steam and heat rise too fast and don't 'cook' the food. Yeah, you have to add tons of water to the rice repeatedly while it's cooking just to soften it. I heard pressure cooking was the way to go, but a pressure rice cooker is $200+... forget that. I don't need to know how to cook that bad :) Everyone here must feel the same way because the only edible food in this town is a Penny's Diner that serves breakfast all day. ...
