The first stop of the morning was Deadwood South Dakota, seat of Lawrence county, the eponymous local of the HBO series, and the final resting place of Wild Bill Hickok. Continuing our theme of visiting the grave sites of folks we think were cool, we visited Mount Moriah Cemetery and paid our respects ...

    We made it!

... a gravel road for a few miles in the middle of the night. It was quite creepy. Note to self: remember to change GPS settings to fastest time rather than shortest distance - and avoid turnpikes!! We spent about $25 on turnpikes in Oklahoma alone. I haven't gotten our mail from home yet, but I imagine there are more tickets in there. The turnpikes and toll roads in Colorado just take pictures of your plates and mail you a ticket. I think I'll be ordering ...
