... be put to work, I was not welcomed. When I inquired as to the type of work, they changed their tune and just told me that I was able to walk around the prison and cemetery via nature trail. Also I could come back the next day during normal operating hours. For people running a tiny museum literally in the middle of nowhere, hospitality was not a strength.

... all over the place but had not seen many since Arizona. On this leg of the trip we have seen a lot of dead animals especially deer on the roadside.

When we got close to Green River which is the end (or the beginning) of Flaming Gorge the hills are multi-colored and beautiful. On our driving trip years ago we come up thru Utah by the gorge on our way to Yellowstone and loved the views. After this the area is dotted with cattle but most of the land is getting brown ...

  • It is now 1:44 in the morning and we are running low on gas so we fill up in Sinclair Wyoming.
  • We grab coffee and a couple of some extremely unhealthy red bulls.
  • Gas Cost: $44.28
  • Drink Cost: Best $7 ever spent.

... were home and it cleared up overnight here. My hair has grown INCHES in the weeks we've been here, and Josh has to shave his face every single day. I'm not sure if that's because of this mystery water or just the cold...even though it really hasn't been cold during the day. Hmm?
