    ... mortgage.

An excellent method of reducing your premiums is paying off your mortgage. While this is not an easy task, most homeowner's insurance companies will lower their rates once the house is completely yours. Insurance companies reward homeowners who own their home free and clear.

Understand your policy's coverage of off-site living costs. Sometimes, if the home is unlivable, you may be able to claim some of your accommodation ...

... Chicago Blackhawks lost so it was a very quiet ride home. Getting back very late and having tea at 11.30! It was amazing deep dish pizza from Giordana's incredible the size and would have been nearly two inches thick/high - this set us up for a big sleep in! ... weird happened. The woman who I'd asked to take my picture told her husband to get in the picture so I ended up with a picture of me in 'The Ledge' with a random bloke. ... don't buy tickets from EuroRail in the future.

United also didn't pay for my hotel in Chicago, as the delay was weather related. They did at least give me a number to reserve a half-way sketchy hotel room by the airport at a discounted rate. Nothing is better than booking a room at a hotel you know nothing about and then calling to have their shuttle pick you up and standing around asking people if they are your driver. I went to bed super frustrated.

    ... City Hall.

Finally, having spent almost three hours walking, I took the northbound Red Line train to Uno's, which is said to have come up with deep dish pizza. While I had to wait more than 3/4 of an hour for my order, it was well worth the wait and deeply fulfilling.

With my first day at a close, I feel really good about the start I've gotten in this city so far. Cannot wait for tomorrow.
