... the hostel. Such a poorly run hostel. So he calculates the difference we owed for the one less night and obviously can't process simple maths despite me explain gin how it works. I just agree with him as we save a little and honestly didn't expect it as we had technically booked the extra night. Quickly head down to the ferry and jump for the ride to Cozumel. The ocean is pretty r ough and Leesh and I just sit there trying to spot any sharks, Dolphins ...

... I'll document those another time.

We arrived around 1:30pm at Cancun International. Customs and immigration was reasonably organized and painless. Having a cute toddler is like a free pass with immigration officers (and everyone else). ... observe whether he would stop to ask us if we were 'ready to party' and wondered how we would explain that, although it was very nice that he would pick us up at 22:30, we had both been asleep by 20:15 every night - even though we had attempted to be wild we had just got a bit sleepy after dinner. Alas, as soon as he had agreed to meet the small group of party animals in the bar later and return them at 4am the following ...

... us didn't have cash on us, an if we did tip him, I'm sure the Mexican security guards would have taken it off him. Beau was the guide from the trip the other guys did and he is also travelling the same route, so we will most likely catch up with him and he will be able to pass on our tips to Andres. On the brighter side of things, this does mean Andres can probably start doing tours in his own country which he seems to be keen on doing, best of luck to him. ---- We finally made it ...

      Hotel Barracuda- Isla Cozumel

A travel blog entry by ejgoss on Nov 17, 2013

... The dive master killed a lionfish and fed it to the moray eel which was pretty cool. We stayed at the hotel barracuda which is a pretty good diving hotel. It has a pier where the dive crew pick you up from and drop you back! We went there as part of a deal with the diving company (deep blue) and got our accommodation and dives as part of a package for US$1000. Considering it costs $100 per 2 dives this was a pretty good deal. We ...
