I had no intention to wake up before 11, but even when we went to bed at 4 am, I woke up at 8:30 and I was ready to go.

I decided to go jogging, warmed up, took 10N to 10th Avenue and ran north all the way to 72nd street, then went down to 5th avenue and back on 5th avenue another 15 minutes for a total of 30 minutes and I guess something around a 5K.

The whole day was magic, not a cloud in the sky and by the end of the day a moment of reflection left me feeling so amazingly lucky. We seen some mexican tocos and figured that would be a good snack to share between the three of us... there must have been a translation error though I thought our waitress understood what we asked for. We ended up getting 4 coronas, one basket of tortilla chips ...

... Misty, who's birthday it was too! My sister! She and I had one of the best dances of my life. Salsa in the sand. She was such an incredible dance partner, but then she is a professional dance facilitator, and owner of a world wide dance movement called The Groove.

Tomorrow is Sunday, and I am going to meet my other new bunch of friends for some volleyball. Last Sunday i was coming back from a long beach walk when I approached some people at one of ...

OK, 3 days in playa is absolutely enough. The beach is 'lovely 'n' all' but its just so horridly commercial (even the cenotes) and, call me weird if you like, but drinking beer and wine at 9:30am whilst people (me) are eating breakfast is just plain wrong. Despite this, I did do a bit of shopping and bought myself a bit of silver - clearly they saw me coming! In a fit of something or other and without engaging my brain, I wandered into a jewellery ...
