      Leaving today

... are bright with the sun setting. I'll miss SC but not the humidity! We have had some mosquito issues there and here. The wine event was sponsored by an animal boarding/spa place. The groomer will try and make an appointment for Mickey to get rid of his pink. I'm worried this stuff might make him sick while cleaning himself. Cool temps and a nice breeze will make for great sleeping ...

      Getting ready to head out

A travel blog entry by tbasler on Mar 31, 2015

I finished the grapefruit and orange juice. We have plenty! Our final evening with B&C at Del Vines for an awesome dinner. My filet mignon was outstanding! We'll do our final packing up in the morning and head to Tubac by noon. I always hate to leave but am looking forward to AZ ...

I'm looking forward to next season to spend more time with these people. It would be nice to have a wider circle of friends. Pam and Rich have booked a beautiful rental on the Caricol for next Jan through ...

Dave Verner arranged a birder, whale and dolphin watching trip out in the bay to Pillar, and Martini Cove. The weather was perfect and calm water. But the most amazing were sea lions playing, jumping out of the water and doing flips! The captain and Dave said they had never seen them do these antics before. Lots of Dolphins swam with the boat but no whales today. Out ...

      Castaway Kids Party

... rancheros! Butch was sick so we hung out with Connie all day. We've gotten to know the Canadians that we met last year, Lynn and Leo in an Alegro Bus and Al and Brenda in a Monoco. Al had his painted and the guy did a great job. Anyway they are nice folks. Al has a golden retriever, Daisy. The nicest dog that would like to be friends with ...
