After the beach we took a scenic drive through the Gulf Shores National Seashore while the kids sacked out in the car. Then dinner and a great fireworks show on the bay! Great day in Florida and we're excited to get to Nora Carolina to see the Murphys tomorrow!

... We hit some bad traffic just outside if Baton Rouge and lost us about an hour. Dinner stop in Biloxi Mississippi and then the last 120 miles to Pensacola! There were of course several other bathrooms stops sprinkled in there :) The kids went a little crazy when we got to our hotel, lots of pent up energy to burn but were happy and having a great time. We can't wait to hit the beach ...

This place is old and in need of refurbishment. The lady who checked us in was pleasant to deal with, so that's a plus. There's a huge HUGE Walmart a mile down the road - very interesting experience shopping there as we're visitors to the USA.
