... in and out of antique shops and boutiques on our way to the beach tram, which we knew to be an actual beach, not a wharf like in Zebrugge. ... and out in the morning. We wake up and get our bags together and check out to get a train to the main station. As we bought a box the previous day and filled it with stuff to send home, we go straight to the post office which is across the road from the main station (after a lot of asking people for directions). When we get to the post office we are both hot and grumpy. We line up and the man that serves us is horrible. I'm ready to cry by this point and we are both so keen to ...
... again. This resulted in us driving aimlessly through who-knows-which town and taking three times as long as we thought.
But the river was something I had to see again.
People have always told me "oh the water just looks blue because it reflects the sky".
No. This water was actually. blue.
Either that, or the sky has taken ill...very ill.
Apparently, the stones in the riverbed have some minerals in them that cause the water to be blue.
... to India and we are all extremely excited/anxious/curious. It was a lot colder in Germany than we were prepared for so we are welcoming the heat (for now).
