... and buggy just for our family.

A fun afternoon deserves ice cream, at least that’s our motto. So we were off to find our Ice Cream Theme for the day: Homemade Monday. We stopped at Sav’s Chill in downtown Lexington and got our second fun surprise. We were waited on by Sav himself. It turns out he doesn’t make the ice cream there at the shop as we had thought, but his buddy makes it not too far away. Sav is originally from ...

Other features were the Bubble Room, the Homes of the World room, the Kentucky River Waterway, and ...

The facility is top notch with sponsors the like of Rolex (we had never seen Rolex sponsor anything before-guess we don't run in the same circles). A highlight was the presentation at the Hall of Champions. Only ...

Saturday morning we got up early and headed to the pick up place for our
Horse Farm Tour. Our guide was very nice, but a little corny. He was
knowledgeable about the horses, farms and history and we were impressed
with the number of jobs he has/had. He retired from the US Postal
Service and is now a music teacher and does tours and other things I
