    An excellent hotel. Great value for money and within a stones throw of Malpensa Airport. Highly recommended.

    We left Venice after lunch and traveled back to Milan via Verona. Due to the timing we did not get to spend any time in the centre of Milan due to our early flight to Copenhagen the next day. The hotel was excellent and the rates were great for a European hotel in a major city. Not much to see around the airport though.

    This morning we had the buffet in the hotel, America here we come. The food was nothing like we've had since being in Italy. Not much more than continental breakfast.     ... Sforzesco for a brief walk around - it is huge and beautifully built with rounded brick turrets and huge courtyards. We decided not to catch the metro but walk through the city, it is more interesting that way. We then visited the Duomo for an inside look.     ... lined with bars & restaurants with lights strung across the canal providing an ideal setting. It's only 10.00pm so let's go and have a walk and have a look. As we go past reception, Pipi suggests we take some umbrellas as rain is forcast. He was right, within 5 minutes it is raining but it is still warm and comfortable.
