    ... timed Katy and Glenn this morning whilst at Andrews. Stopped off at a farmshop cafe shop where we had some home made soup which was lovely. Spoke to a lady who made jams in different flavours and I bought a strawberry, rhubarb and ginger. Also had a latte and a free water.     We have been in Michigan City, IN and Ludington, MI on our way to Petoskey, MI. We plan to spend a week in Petoskey since we enjoyed it so much on our way out west back in June.

    ... picture how beautiful the day was and how much warmer it was getting. This would be the last time we could see him. With 8 miles to go this would be the true test of his readiness. The longest he had run prior to today was twenty miles. After this point in the race Kirk said the began to question why he'd done this? He was also feeling dizzy wand bit disoriented.

    Heading back to the car and the Start/Finish line we were so grateful ...

    ... Amy, our niece Rachel and my parents to watch Kirk run his first.....and maybe only......marathon. It starts at 7am but that means a wake up time of 5am? Really? Whose idea was this? I guess tomorrow night will be our night to stay up late and sleep in a bit on Sunday.

We just have the RV parked all day and can do so many things within a short bike ride or walk...and variety, too, from the beach to the woods!
