once was created by a beaver. The beaver is gone but man has improved upon the lake with a dam at each end and a boat ramp for non-gas powered vessels.
I expected mosquito's but only had some gnats and a few flies around the
campsite. I stayed an extra day and took time to walk around the lake (2.4 miles) and then ...

Going back to hotel room, we noticed the old Hoover was still outside the door of the room opposite us, it had been there since yesterday morning and hadn't moved at all. ... pin on, so we put in a blue pin to stand out from all the red ones over UK. Satisfied with another historic trip, we strolled back to theirs. Jay wondered where we had got too, asked if we got lost. He was not amused when we said we'd been to Doc's, but I quickly reassured him we only stopped for drinks and had refused the cookie request as he was doing tea, so he was happy again with that. Levi was all full of beans, passing this & that to me. At one point ...
