Most of the rest of our journey was on the Interstate which was quite busy at times and it was a very hot afternoon. We arrived at our Super 8 Hotel at about 5pm.
Dinner at Old Chigacos which was an Italian restaurant. I had a gluten free pizza and not much beer tonight. Our waitress was a waiter, very nice lad but not somebody I fancied having a photograph with. Early night and in bed by 10pm.
It's the 4th July! Lovely 95 miles today. Perfect temperature and flat landscape mostly consisting of corn and soya beans

Discovered strawberry bread at SAG. Life changing.

We stop at Dwight a very small town with a historic Texaco Gas Station. It's a little museum come shop. On now to Pontiac. So much to see but first we must eat. We stop at the Old log cabin diner. Originally opened in 1926 facing the highway but when the highway was realigned it was behind the diner, so ...
