... the largest collection of non-medical books about VI in the world. We then met with Dorinda Rife, the superintendent for Education here. She moved here from Texas 5 years ago and hasn't looked back. The 3 of us discussed the issues we all face and some of the creative ways we have tried to overcome them. Like us Perkins is facing the challenges of inclusion and commissioners trying desperately tying to keep young people in county etc. they have had a slight reduction ...
... I had to go. I eventually found my way back and spent the rest of the evening at my hotel and skyping Mum. It's now midnight so I shall sleep. Hoping to visit the filming of "Black Mass" (not the gospel choir soul church) tomorrow down the road from my hotel. Not sure who will be on set or what time. ... a few days before on our stop over.
We arrive at the Frog Pond and the line for skating winds around almost half of the rink. Lisa and I venture over to check out the rates which are quite reasonable but we decide the line is too long and we should have plenty of opportunities to skate in New York. So we head back to the hotel for leftovers while watching a spot of ice hockey. Before long it's time to hit the hay and get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow we are off to New York!
