    ... have been interesting. They told in one of the houses how the ladies' maids had to remove all the covered buttons from the ladies' underwear before washing and then sew them all back on again. Every time they were washed.

    But it was an interesting day.

    ... it was a strange feeling closing up the grand piano one last time for a long time. But its all beautiful. it's all beautiful. It was moving to be a part of those services, to hear the eulogies, to perform those songs one last time in church. ok,

    ... cooler filled with a Jamaican rum punch that is made weeks (months?) in advance and is potent as sh*t. We have to put a warning label on the thing every year and we still have casualties. She is a Duke (go Blue Devils!) alum, shares Drea's love of Chinese food, and is quite the DJ (and so I expect a South African playlist....hint, hint). It will be a toss-up if she, Paul or Leonie will have me laughing more on this trip.

    So after a long and traffic filled day on the bus I got to Boston. Haein, who we travelled with in New Zealand picked me up from the station and we stayed with her English friend for the weekend.
