Well, this is officially our last day of vacation traveling and visiting wonderful sites in our country. Maureen and Ben have been simply delightful traveling companions. All four of us are sad to see it end. We all agree that the days flew by-it seems impossible we left home 9 1/2 weeks ago. We are already starting to plan the next venture. Continuing south we were looking for a possible crossing point of ...

We left our Fishing Bay anchorage at 0852 hours and enjoyed a very nice moderate reach on main and jib to the Great Wicomico River. It was sunny, dry and pleasant with East winds 10-15 kts. We had a big strike on pink stretch 25--big enough that it broke the line--too bad! We were anchored at 1507 hours to enjoy a nice dinner on the ...

On Sunday we sailed out of Carter Creek at 0822 hours and spent a very pleasant day touring up the Corottoman River under motor sail to scout future potential anchorages. Then we headed south down the Rappahannock, tacking under the bridge. ...
