      Family update

A travel blog entry by clara.sayre on Aug 11, 2014

My grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family yesterday early afternoon. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.

... home, and life in the Philippines is most definitely chaotic but the pace of life can never compare. I love my relaxed, timeless schedule and mindset in the Philippines, but whenever I come home it seems it is a few weeks of bookings...filled with reuniting, celebrating, appreciating, catching up, eating, laughing, sharing stories, and remembering what home is all about :)

Thanks for your patience in advance, I hope the photos of the water tank will suffice for now!

... speeding. Here her son had to do a #2 (poor thing looked like he was about 3) and she tried to make it, to no avail. She got a ticket and another surprise from her son, glad I was on the bike and not driving in the car with them. Hit some misting rain for most of Ohio, but other than that nothing eventful happened. We did 620 miles and got to Howe, IN by 5PM. This is where Waldo will be spending the night. Our hotel is 2/10 of a mile ...
