... ice, getting gas, and working on this blog. I picked him up about 10:30, after which we cruised back through the campground just to be sure that the shriek brigade had indeed cleared out (it had). We decided to explore the options for places to have our picnic lunch, and after a brief sojourn to Duck Island (where I was looking in vain for the geocache the other day), we headed into Kingsport to a park along the river listed in the AAA guide as being free ...

... It was a bit perplexing, as a sound, because it was coming from the direction of the river, where there is no campground and unlikely to be any people. Also the "dog" didn’t move. ... Cheryl with dinner.

We had an early dinner and sat inside today for a change and finished it all up quite quickly, must have been hungry. Tonight, Cheryl and Dave had arranged for us to try "Smores", which involved roasting marshmallows, placing them and Hershey’s chocolate between two gram crackers, holy heart attack! So we had this little fondu looking set and roasted marshmallows around the table with our sticks and had some fun making Smores. I think ...

... to put on a dinner for us tonight. However, with Grandma’s memory not being great anymore, we figured it was too much for her and a bit of a hazard having her cook on her own. So we talked her out of it and said she could still make her potatoes and she could bring them over. So we left it at that, headed in to Food City as I had to pick up some of my Almond Milk for the next few mornings for cereal.

    We headed home for ...
