Our main reason for being in Houston was to visit the Johnson Space Center (JSC). We arrived at 10am and got a spot right by the entrance, because there were not many people there. We immediately jumped on the site tour. First stop was the actual ground control center used for the 60s to 80s rocket launches. The current ground control center is one floor down. The food was great but thank god for Mexican or I probably would have starved!. I ordered chilli cheese fries thinking it sounds vegetarian friendly only to discover a healthy spattering of beef on top. I probably would never want to live in Texas but enjoyed the experience nonetheless. ...

Sunday we went to West Houston as Mase was exhorting. We had been told there was no sunday school there so we enjoyed a quiet morning at home before heading out.
When we arrived we discovered they did have sunday school (very small) but by then it was too late to worry. The sunday school is comprised of one family - a family from Congo who came to the US as refugees about a year ago due to the ongoing war in Congo. ...
