We drove 300km South East to the tiny town of High Is, the famed birding hotspot for birds migrating north from South America. Left Kathy & Glens after breakfast, seems weird that the next time we see them will be in France! OK, so here is the story of the first day of our trip.

Yesterday (Tuesday) we took "G/G" and the TOAD to Camping World to have the auxiliary brake installed. Yes I know it should have been done before, but no one ever accused us of doing things the easy way. Anyway, we drove out early yesterday, turned both vehicles in and was told they would be ready about 4 pm. So off we went back home. I had driven my car out while Bob towed the car so we could go back home.
