... a local Texas barbecue joint--"finally!" per Milo our meat eater. Afterward, we swam in the hotel pool.
We didn't even take any pictures today. Is there nothing interesting to report? Perhaps. Just south of here is a place called "Nederland", which is the Dutch way of spelling "Netherlands" and was founded by Dutch settlers. Still, however, ...
... that have happened. To see both the good and bad of New Orleans provided us with a new perspective of the city.
On the two-hour tour, we learned a lot about the historical roots of New Orleans and Louisiana. Lots of writers have lived in the French Quarter, including Tennessee Williams and William Faulkner. American Horror Story and The Vampire Diaries (TV shows) have shot scenes in the city. Right now, they’re filming Terminator 5 and ...

Yes I know it should have been done before, but no one ever accused us of doing things the easy way. Anyway, we drove out early yesterday, turned both vehicles in and was told they would be ready about 4 pm. So off we went back home. I had driven my car out while Bob towed the car so we could go back home.
