... the candle store, but it wasn't just candles -- they had lots of decorative items as well. We were also impressed with the layout of the store and the way the merchandise was presented. There were lots of interesting things in areas that were set up to look like rooms (kitchen, dining room, etc.). We spent a while browsing, but I wasn't interested in buying anything. Another building featured food, teas, Christmas items and toys. After wandering around the stores ...

    ... Summer 2015!

In the past, I used a travel journal to document our adventures, saving ticket stubs and small trinkets. After returning from past trips, I joyfully browsed through hundreds of travel photos, creating photo albums to tell our story. This time around, I thought a blog could help record our memories, keeping it all in one place. I am exciting for the adventure of starting a blog, and even more excited for the adventure of traveling Ireland. ...

Elinor Weds: Survival of the Fittest (sorry Nanny)

We are off to see my sister, Elinor Watts, wed the man, the myth, the larper, Dan ummmm, the man? I'm extremely happy for my sister and excited that she has finally found "the one." (Side note: if you would have asked me 10 years ago who Elinor would eventually marry I would have said, "someone not possessing a penis." She did major in theatre after all).
The wedding will take place in Deep River, CT and will be surrounded by the most joyful bunch ...
