... mile away from the berry farm. So we drove over to Pinto lake which was more like a large pond. We decided to take the canoe out for a couple of hours and on Dave’s very first cast he caught a huge bass. We paddled our way along the edge of the lake and he caught two more. It was enough to make me want to fish. Dave finally found his fishing playground! We had to leave because Dave needed to get the tip of his fishing pole repaired before the store closed. We ...

After speaking with the seals, we went went to gaze at the jellyfish at fisherman's wharf which at one point we saw at least a dozen and a half- one got ran over and cut to a few different pieces by a boat coming in. After that sad sight, we walked along the pier and busted out a picnic lunch and looked out at the otters. It was super magical ...

Yesterday and today have been, quite frankly, awful! Stupidly we didn't put any sun lotion on when we went on the Whale Watching boat - 4.5 hours on a boat with shorts and no hat and lotion is not clever!

I have struggled to walk and sleep due to my legs being so blooming burnt. We went on a mission tonight to look for natural yogurt to put on the burnt legs!

Phew - all hail natural yogurt!!
