Spent the morning in Metropolis with Superman. He is way bigger than he looks on TV, We went through 4 states today. We had to fight the GPS to get to Precious Moments. It wanted to send us 100 miles out of the way. Needless to say, we now have a new GPS.

I think, considering the downturn BSprings seems to be experiencing they could have kept this gem open and staffed with volunteers made it a real drawcard for the town. ... come across one that warns not to travel if you are over a certain height (we aren't) and a certain width (we are) but it is unclear as to where this applies and where you can go if you are indeed too wide.. So we pulled off the road and have staked out other vehicles from the side of the road to check what everyone else is doing. We saw more of rural Missouri today. Our first stop was Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, which was the first major Civil War battle west of the Mississippi.
